Patrick Murigi He
is an orphan who has just joined the shelter from Naivasha safe house.
He is the first born in a family of three. He used to stay with the
grandmother in Goliba, Thika before she passed away. He was then picked
up by an aunt who started to mistreat him. At one time he had to be
accommodated by a neighbour since the aunt's husband did not want to
see him. The boy continued to struggle until one day he decided to run
away and look for employment. He worked as a herdsboy for sometime. He
later decided to come to Naivasha to seek for assistance. He stayed in
the streets for sometime as a parking boy. He has recovered well from
the past trauma and would like to study and maybe find a course that
can assist him in future. He is currently being trained in
carpentry. |
